About the role:
JustCall is looking for a Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience creating videos for software products and is proficient in both live-action and animation editing.
You will work closely with producers, scriptwriters, and cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer success) to create compelling video content for our digital platforms. This includes animated shorts, slides, talking-head videos, explainer videos, and mixed-media content.
You will also leverage the latest AI tools to streamline production and stay ahead of industry trends.
What you'll do:
1, Video Editing & Production:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos, including live-action, animation, and mixed-media content.
- Create engaging animated shorts, slides, and motion graphics using tools like Adobe After Effects.
- Edit talking-head videos, explainer videos, and other live-action content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines, messaging, and marketing objectives.
2. Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with producers, scriptwriters, and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver compelling video content.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve video content.
- Understand the business needs as well as the audience for the video content and create videos that match their taste.
3. AI Tools & Innovation:
- Use the latest AI tools to speed up video production, including automated editing, voiceovers, and motion graphics.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in video AI and proactively suggest new tools and techniques to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in video editing, with a focus on B2B or SaaS content.
- Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and animation tools like Adobe After Effects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video content, including live-action, animation, and mixed-media projects.
- Experience using AI tools for video production (e.g., automated editing, AI voiceovers, etc.).
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to create engaging content for a B2B audience.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
