Role Summary:
As a Sales Operations Associate, you will collaborate with Sales and cross-functional leaders to ensure the continuous growth and success of our GTM motion. You will design and implement scalable sales motions, drive process improvements, develop data-driven insights, and translate them into successful sales strategies. Your ability to think critically and strategically, coupled with your operational expertise, will be key to executing these plans effectively.
What You Will Do:
- Define and Implement GTM Strategy: Drive the go-to-market strategy, including customer journey mapping, segmentation, capacity and quota planning, territory modeling, and variable compensation planning.
- Develop Scalable Sales Processes: Work with relevant stakeholders to build scalable inbound and outbound sales processes.
- Analyze and Report: Ensure data hygiene, analyze pipeline and performance data, generate actionable insights, and maintain standardized reports and dashboards.
- Enhance Sales Tools: Build and enhance features on sales tools and databases to boost productivity and efficiency of the sales teams.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Advocate for the sales function in cross-functional discussions, ensuring adherence to sales processes and systems.
- Monitor Sales Performance: Set up processes for proactive sales performance monitoring and ensure compliance with operational metrics.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Experience: 4+ years in sales operations, with a minimum of 2 years in the SaaS domain
- Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of sales concepts such as capacity planning, funnel management, segmentation, pipeline management, forecasting, account and territory distribution, and variable compensation
- Project Management: Proven ability to drive projects end-to-end in a structured manner
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data modeling (MS Excel) and comfort with large datasets
- Problem-Solving: Strong structured thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Tools Expertise: In-depth understanding of CRMs like Salesforce (including automation and workflows) and working knowledge of tools like HubSpot, Salesloft, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of database languages, warehouses, and BI tools such as SQL, BigQuery, and Tableau (preferred)
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred)
