Senior Content Writer (Product)

At SaaS Labs, we are looking for an experienced product writer to join our team. This person will be responsible for creating high-quality content that focuses on our product, JustCall. If we consider JustCall to be the hero of the story, we’re looking for someone to tell that story really well.

The content will include long-form and short-form content across formats, such as product web pages, blogs, emails, in-app notification copy, one-pagers, and explainer videos.

Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product-focused writing and content creation.
  • Should have worked in a SaaS company, preferably with exposure to a global audience in B2B.
  • Should have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Create long-form content such as product pages, blogs, and articles keeping in mind product marketing best practices such as focusing on the benefit vs features. 
  • Support the product positioning and narrative with copy across channels including review sites, marketplace listings, social posts, product interactive tours, short videos, email campaigns, and internal documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Product, Product Marketing, Sales, etc.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and style.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using tools such as GA, GSC, Semrush, etc. 
  • As part of the Marketing team, you will work closely with our Director of Content, Director of Demand Generation, SEO team, Product team, CEO’s office, designers and freelancers, and other team members as needed.

  • You have a keen interest in product marketing and understand how good product-focused content fuels product growth.
  • You also follow popular culture and understand US/Global cultural references. 
  • You understand our target audience - sales and customer support - and know how to make our content engaging and insightful for them.
