Role Impact:
As the Manager of Sales Development, you’ll lead a dynamic team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs). Your team will be pivotal in expanding outreach and optimizing resources to maintain a robust lead generation pipeline. Collaborating with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams, you'll drive demand, foster growth, and enhance our sales processes. You’ll mentor and guide your team in generating new leads and qualifying existing ones, ensuring they meet targets and contribute to our company's overall success.
What You Will Do:
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a diverse team of SDRs/BDRs, emphasizing skill-building, career growth, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Pipeline Growth: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to drive top-of-funnel activities, implement targeted campaigns, and generate high-quality opportunities.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Use data to identify trends, enhance team performance, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
- Coaching and Development: Provide personalized coaching and feedback to help SDRs and BDRs excel, improve prospect engagement, and contribute positively to their development.
- Strategic Planning: Align SDR strategies with broader business objectives through partnership with cross-functional teams and higher management, bringing innovative ideas to the table.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure alignment on messaging, targeting, and campaign execution.
- Talent Development: Actively participate in recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing new SDR talent, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Performance Management: Set clear expectations, track progress, and support your team in meeting and exceeding goals.
What You Will Bring:
- BA/BS or equivalent, with 1-3 years of experience leading inbound and/or outbound sales development teams.
- Proven experience leading teams with five or more direct reports.
- Comprehensive sales experience, including prospecting, preferably in a technology company, with a proven track record of top performance.
- Highly adaptable, collaborative, and an effective communicator with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a genuine customer empathy and the ability to understand customer needs.
- Experience in managing and closing strategic deals involving multiple business units and stakeholders.
- Inner drive, motivation, and perseverance to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong knowledge of CRMs and the ability to create reports and analyze data.
